Rstudio
RStudio is a free and open source integrated development environment (IDE) for R. You can run it on your desktop (Windows, Mac, or Linux) or even over the web using RStudio Server (‘’from rstudio.org’’).
Loading RStudio
The following are the steps that need to be done to run RStudio
at the CRC.
Login to a front-end machine with the
-X
flag so the RStudio GUI can load.Note
: If you’re connecting from a Mac, you may need to use [[Fastx]].Load the
Rstudio
module by typingmodule load Rstudio
. Do not load the module forR
. The module forR
is loaded whenRstudio
is loaded.Run
RStudio
by typingrstudio
in the command prompt.Congratulations! RStudio should now be open and ready to use.
